On April 17, 2009, the New Hampshire Supreme Court rejected the appeal and affirmed the Court’s Order granting final approval of the Settlement. As a result, the Claims Administrator will begin to distribute coupons no later than June 16, 2009. This website was established to provide information about a class action settlement that U.S. Smokeless Tobacco Company has agreed to with plaintiffs. The settlement involves adult consumers who purchased U.S. Smokeless moist smokeless tobacco products, including Copenhagen and Skoal, at any time from January 1, 1990 to March 7, 2008 in New Hampshire. The Court-ordered Notice and other documents at this website explain the Settlement, the benefits it provides, and how to submit a Claim Form. Claim Forms are due by December 31, 2009.
